Chargeback disputes provide the consumer with a remedy to receive a refund for an amount in dispute, when talking directly with the merchant is unsuccessful.

It’s our goal to ensure you do receive a successful resolution directly with our Customer Happiness team. However, if you do decide to initiate a dispute with your card issuer, there is a strict process we, as merchants, have to follow which prevents us from providing you with a refund until the dispute has been formally resolved by your financial institution.

When you initiate a dispute your card issuer will credit you with the transaction amount temporarily while the dispute process is investigated fully. You will see a credit on your statement or account information online once your card issuer has lodged the dispute.

The dispute process entails our cooperation in providing your card issuer with evidence of your original purchase, and any efforts you had made to contact us for a refund prior to filing the dispute.

The documentation we provide is reviewed by our gateway provider, and your card issuer, and a determination is made based on the evidence we submit. It is possible that the dispute could be resolved in our favor and your card issuer will subsequently remove the refund credit from your account and re-credit our account for the transaction.

For this reason, it’s always more efficient to work with us directly.  We can always provide an immediate resolution without additional wait times or a denial of your dispute later.
